Justin, the ever-logical man of reason, had felt himself quickly being enveloped in emotion when he saw Colin in this place. It was a combination of things, really. He was cautious enough to see all of the dangers presented to them in being surrounded by people who claimed to not understand their world and to be in such a strange predicament. It made him hyperaware of the things that could go wrong and, as always, his instinct was to protect Colin from all of those things. Of course, Colin had the ability to make Justin feel overwhelming emotion even without the heightened sense of danger around them so Justin was not entirely surprised.
For the first time, really, since being here, he let down his Dr. Rupert Wesley facade and his worry about being seen or being executed for his love for the blonde in front of him and wrapped an arm around him in return, the other hand coming up to curl his fingers into Colin's blonde hair. "I'm very sorry I made you miss me, Monkey. It was unintentional, of course, since I had no way of knowing you ought to be missing me, but I apologize all the same."
As usual, Justin said too many words and, before he could get carried away, he curled his shoulders forward as he leaned down and kissed Colin. So seldom did he get to do that, only in the privacy of their own home and, even then, only when they were certain all neighbors were asleep and no patrols were on the street. Blinds closed. It was a brief, chaste kiss and then he was straightening his spine again as his brow furrowed. "Why was he angry?"
