That was something that differed between the two of them, part of the reason why she'd so fully believed that Theodore would have handled life without her far more easily than she'd handled life without him. She felt all of her emotions to the fullest. She was irrational and rarely logical. Not cool and calculated. She'd never have survived her Games were it not for all fo the ways Theodore had protected her.
Where she'd been hot with anger at Arion before, she now felt warmth as his arms encircled her. Her hands moved from his face to wrap her own arms around him, her heart skipping happily for a brief moment as she allowed herself to consider them, back in District 2, unaffected by the Games. It was almost too happy of a thought, an impossible thought, but she wished for it, all the same.
"You couldn't make me, anyway, I'm far too attached to the God-like substance." Pansy gave the smallest of smiles and added, "I'll share mine with you, though." Tilting her head up, she pressed a kiss to his forehead. She'd do her best to fight for him this time, to protect him. Arion and homesickness were far less daunting enemies than death, but she only had so much she could offer in this place as opposed to the arena.
