Not long after heading out to lunch, Remus breathed a sigh of relief to be able to walk around in relative fresh air, away from everything that had been happening over the last few days. Lunch was good and fairly uneventful, just the way he was hoping things would go for a while. They'd had quite enough excitement to last them for months. Sirius was being unusually restrained over their meal which prompted a few questioning looks from Remus, but after a light conversation about pleasant nothings, he'd settled for an easy day with no dramatics. Before heading back for their room, Remus made sure to pile up on some chocolate to replenish his dwindling supply.
However, the day was starting to come to a crashing halt after Remus reached for the heavy Gamma block door and couldn't seem to open it. Several tries later had him lowering his brows in concentration, and then pulling out his wand to try an unlocking spell. Nothing. Remus turned a quizzical, slightly panicked look to Sirius, before trying again. Futile. He sighed and leaned against the side of the building, staring up into space.
"Great. And here I thought we would have a peaceful day," he muttered, planning to give it a few minutes and then try again.
