Team Two will be woken early and led down to the Great Lake. As they've hopefully figured out from the egg clue, hostages for each of them will be held (perfectly safely!) under the lake by the merpeople. Their job is, as a team, to retrieve each of the hostages that have been designated for them and return with them as quickly as possible. As with task one, teamwork earns them points; lack of teamwork loses points. The hostages (chosen by the scientists) are as follows:

Like before, there will be stands set up for onlookers. There will be magitelivision screens set up for the scientists and the rest of the audience to see what is going on underneath the water. Use the comments to plan out how everything went!

Well Reg calmed down enough to focus on the task, and transfigured her head into a giant goldfish head (super attractive, right?). She would have helped anyone who needed help with transfiguration and wanted to go that route.

Once she was in the water she tried to stick with her team, but got to her sister as fast as she could. Sirilla was her first priority, but she didn't leave to go back until her entire team was free. Then she basically clung to Sirilla for the rest of the day.

James used transfiguration on his head, hands, and feet to give himself gills to breathe underwater and webbed feet and hands to swim faster. He would've suggested that the Slytherin team stick together to help each other against the merpeople because they can't really send messages to each other underwater when they've found the hostages. He'd help his teammates with their hostages if needed, and he'd want to stick around to make sure his Remus and Abby and Sirius^baby are also found by their respective champions. ~~And he will bite you if you try anything funny, Lestrange~~

Also Harry is getting a lot of dad-hugs and hair ruffles once they're out of the lake cause he didn't really like having his son tied up at the bottom of a lake, mmk.

	Arion went the gillyweed route, and definitely had the teamwork down. Once he got to Adele, he helped the others free their hostages, and even offered help to other teams before pulling her to the surface. There were definitely dirty looks given to the Scientists because of this, btw. (Reply to this)

Severin also went for the gillyweed, and brought enough for her team if they chose to go that route. She didn't stray from her team, as she agreed with knap James that sticking together was a good idea, though age did keep her distance from Jane, because it's hella awkward to go save someone else's husband. Nevertheless, when they reached their hostages, she got Luke out, and helped as necessary.

After the task was over, Severin congratulated the other teams before leaving. She feels awkward.

Freddy knew as soon as the clue was revealed that they'd take Georgie, so she'd had a bit of time to calm down and think of a strategy. Instead of transfiguring herself or using gillyweed, she decided to take the Bubble-Head Charm route, which she would have willingly done for her teammates if that's what they wanted. Before entering the water, she suggested that they stay in at least pairs, if not together completely, before taking to the water.

When she saw Georgie, she still kind of lost it, and went to release her quickly. After making sure her teammates were alright with their hostages, and keeping an eye out for Livvy and Hannah, she took to the surface with her twinny twin-twin.

	Lily used gillyweed, and brought extra in case any of her teammates hadn't any options or their charms didn't work. She was 100% a team player, rescued Harry and helped her teammates rescue their people too. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	theodora used a charm for gills, but meta'd herself into a totally awesome lady-fish. she grabbed her father, but made sure that sirius-kidnap could get remus before she swam back up. (Reply to this)

lily used gillyweed, like james did! she wore a watch and waterproofed it before she went under so that she could help everyone with their hostages before she brought abby back up. she kept checking on abby and checking her watch and once she was confident all of her teammates were able to get their hostages back up, she rescued abby and totally snuggled her and harry with blankets and towels because ghfdkjghdk <--- yeah, that.

jane, on the other hand, was not so much a team player because WTF her whole family was pm down there aside from moony. she used gillyweed tooo thanks to moony's suggestion. so she tried to save sirilla, hannah AND luke. once regina showed up, she let regina do her thing for sirilla but fought severin tooth and nail because gfhdjkghdk BITCH BACK UP, lmao. anyway, she eventually had no choice but to let severin rescue luke and rescued hannah herself. she was NOT happy afterward and probably didn't let luke or hannah go FOREVER.

teddy meta'd! he jumped into the lake and then changed into a merman since metas can change into basically any living creature :D and then he rescued his gram and had all the feels forever. if he was allowed, he would have left andromeda to go back into the lake to make sure his teammates were faring alright.

	james says count him in for the snuggling harry and abby because he totally has the ksjfhglksdjglsdjlds feels too! he also would've tried to help resolve the severin-jane fight to be like GUYS. LET'S JUST GET THEM ALL BACK TO SHORE AND SAFE MMK. but he was mostly on jane's side, obviously, for reasons >> and andromeda is dkjfhglsdhl over being rescued by teddy as well XD (Reply to this) (Parent)

Rodolphus would have tranfigured gills and webbed feet. He would have had his knife on him to cut anyone free. He would have messed with James a bit, but upon seeing Arayna tied up, he would have flipped and grabbed her. If anyone needed assistance with a blade, he would have helped.

Now, upon seeing James staying behind, Rodolphus did the same to assist because he understands the importance of family, now being a new daddy. Feel free to go wtf.

Ro would have gotten Arayna out safely and even a brief big hug.

	Duke is not aces at magic and just went for the gillyweed. While his sense of direction sucks, he would have followed people in his team and made sure no one got lost. BECAUSE HE CARES. And then he grabbed Marek. With an eyeroll, k you punk. (Reply to this)

	Charlie chose to go with the bubble head charm and was able to rescue Olivia. He kept an eye on his team mates and would have offered assistance if needed. (Reply to this)

Remus used a bubble-head charm and transformed his feet into proper fins. Since he's used to working as a team, and is often responsible for the safety of people, he took a tactical approach to his team and tried to keep an eye on them to keep them together so that no one was left behind. Once they reached the taken Taken, he used his wand to cut Sirius' rope. Taking the free end, he fastened it around his own waist (because, really, trying to swim and hold someone sounds difficult) and went back up!
