Getting down here and inside the Slytherin Common Room and dorms had been the easy part. So much easier than the last time. Sneaking down by use of Polyjuice Potion with Hermes upstairs stuck as a cat? Having the password had made things much easier, but seeing that the common room hadn't changed at all, in some ways, made it harder for Hannah. If only because she was flashing back to what was. What had been. And in so many ways being here was just that. A trip down memory land for some, but Hannah felt like she was trapped.
She'd shared these feelings with Harry, understanding just how deeply they ran. She wanted to run, but that wasn't something she could do. Sneak out like she and her Twin had done in Dinoland. Go camping by the lake, leave everything but the tent behind and just sit, take her Clone with her and any other H. Potters who wanted to come. But it wasn't how she did things. She couldn't just run. She wouldn't let herself. She wasn't a coward. But even Gryffindors had their limits. Mishoused or not.
These things had been bubbling to the surface since they'd arrived. Memories of the things they'd done, the ghost of what was yet to co, all of it So much easier than the last time. These things had been bubbling to the surface since they'd arrived. Memories of the things they'd done, the ghost of what was yet to come, all of it was just so much for her to handle. And she was trying to handle it but, it seemed more like she was holding it together. Trying to keep her parents from knowing too much more than they already did. Not wanting to put this on anyone else who didn't already know but there were some times, when you just needed your mum. And for the longest time, Hannah could never really say that she'd been able to turn to hers. But here... this place was different.
Which was one reason she was here waiting. She felt heavy. Weighed down. And she knew that she probably looked horrible. Telling herself the sooner they flipped out of there the better wasn't helping. Maybe this would?
