For a moment, Ronnie forgot about everything else and moved to hug her husband, throwing her arms around his neck. It hadn't been that long since she'd seen him, technically speaking, and she hadn't realized how glad she'd be to see him until she did.
She kissed him briefly before burying her face in his shoulder. Seeing the dead come back to life, feeling displaced in time and out of her own world, it all felt more real now that she was here-- because Hermes was a tiny little bit of normality (relative normality, anyway) in the midst of all this madness.
"Hey," she said, managing a slight smile as she pulled back to look up at him. "Miss me?"
