Hermes didn't know what to do now that Ronnie was here. She wasn't much younger than he knew her as but in that short amount of time, a lot changed. They were about to become parents, after all. Hermes was ultimately, easily, glad that Ronnie was there, though. The fresh excitement of the place and meeting everyone was good for a few days but then he knew it was going to be hard without her.
As soon as the door opened, Hermes was standing from the couch in the common room. He didn't know if this was her. For some time now he'd been just sitting there, journal open in his lap with the hope of some new message. Hermes was understanding and patient; but he was more excited to see his wife. "Ronnie," he breathed, slowly coming closer like they were actually back at Hogwarts, making him shy and awkward.
