Albus had not lied to the version of his Father from another world, the one whom had been raised by the dark lord. Albus was always careful. And perhaps many would not feel as though he were being so now, but he felt no fear. He understood a difference. If Toma Riddle had arrived to the compound, at her current age, and not retained her memories, yes, he would view her as more of a threat. He would have still been kind and spoken with her, for he felt as though segregating the girl was simply going to ensure an unbroken circle. He would have done all in his power to make her feel welcome. But he would been more cautious. As she had stated, he knew her history, and he knew just what she had accomplished by this age. But caution did not mean pure isolation from someone and he would have not done that.
But that was a world of what ifs. The important notion was that she had retained her memories. No, she was not the girl of the history books any longer. She was someone new. He didn't know just who she was yet but she had been a companion and he was not going to allow himself to be standoffish because of uncertainty.
He had not changed into the wardrobe, though he had noticed his trunk was now filled with uniforms that would fit him instead of his ten year old self. He still wore his business suit and the only evidence that he was not on his way to a meeting was how his tie had loosened, hanging slack around his neck, as he advanced towards the grounds. He wanted a private place to speak with Toma. The dormitories seemed out of the question and he had noticed many hanging in the more popular areas. He half expected to hear the shrill of 'student out of bed!' from Peeves, but thankfully, this had not occurred as of yet. He slipped into the cover of trees that began the descent into the Forbidden Forrest, his chosen location for conversation away from eyes and ears, and came to a slowed pace.
"Toma," he spoke out as he entered a clearing, his shoulders rolling his jacket off, proceeding to toss it to rest over his shoulder.
