Remus had been feeling a level of up and down since the end of the Christmas celebrations. Still numbed by his anger towards all of the Scientists, he had barely spoken over the journals. The majority of his conversations had been in person and only truly with his family and brothers in mind. On the whole, he had been rather silent. One of the few things he had been doing in this world was trying to find ways to absorb the language, even though they were automatically having it translated by the compound. He hadn't learned Greek during his time at home but it didn't mean he wasn't interested. There had just been no necessity. And Zeta seemed to want him to continue his own lessons. It was the only assumption he could gather from the books on Japanese. Though he didn't have an inclination to do as they wanted anymore, or at least presently, he wasn't going to ignore those books once they returned. He yearned to learn that language after all. But primarily, he had been trying to find any writing he could so he could ask 'locals' what it said. It made him look unintelligent, but he didn't strictly care.

At the moment, he had just finished making a rather bland dish, when compared to his usual, in the kitchen of the stone home. It was a bowl filled with barley and rye, seasoned primarily with salt and other localized herbs, with a macguyvered skewer of grilled hare resting over top. He was excited about the hare. And with the meal ready, he left the house, moving into the main streets to just stroll.

Theo had honestly been a bit out of sorts since Christmas day, when her scientist and V’s had made it their business to ruin the level of comfort they’d built since his arrival. Things had still managed to be relatively calm in spite of that, though her feelings and emotions were in a whirl that she couldn’t entirely explain (and didn’t really want to). She’d quite liked Olympic World at first, too, for the togas and the food and the wine. However, Tau’s punishment had set her all out of sorts. After finally getting a chance to meet and spend time with not only her own parents but with alternates of the same, and finally having V back, Tau had randomly made her invisible to them. It had piqued her biggest insecurity, which was that of being ignored. Since then, she’d been in a funky mood, especially when Tau had deemed it necessary to essentially rub it all in her face all over again.

She’d half-heartedly been participating in training, not terribly compelled to do her best. By this point, all of that was done for the day, so she’d grabbed a bottle of fabulous Greek wine and venture out to explore. It was in this way that she stumbled upon one of the Remuses. She grinned, approaching him without much hesitation. “You must be party Remus,” she said. “You’re the older one without tattoos.”

"None, visible, you mean?" He responded as he glanced up from the bowl. He had been about to scoop up another spoonful of the barley, but stopped himself to set the spoon back in. One glance at her and he knew. "Theodora." He hadn't met her but he knew well enough that she was not Nymphadora. Gazing upon her for a moment, he felt a twinge of sadness, but he pushed through it. He missed Teddy. But he had two other ones he needed to get to know and had put off for far too long. "Which one of us has tattoos?" He then asked with a tilt of his head to the side.

He knew none of his flatmates had them. Unless Sirilla had branded poor Chocolate River. That wouldn't have necessarily surprised him.

"None visible, I mean," she agreed, grinning. She was curious about what was in his bowl, but that could come later. She nodded at his identification, grinning. "'Theo' is much less of a mouthful," she said, moving closer still before stopping before him, notably much shorter than he was. "The one from the Divergent world. We shared tattoo stories recently. He's got a lot, but I think that's a world thing. I read something about lots of piercings and such in their world too. And I know the other Remuses are nearer to my age, which just leaves you. You're the one who helped raise one of the bloke-Hannahs, the one who dances."

She offered a sympathetic tint to her smile then. "I'm sorry they took your son. These scientists are fucking jerks."

"Theodora is prettier," he pointed out with a soft smile but gave a nod of his head. He had often called Teddy by his given name instead of the more common nickname. He preferred it. But he'd go along with Theo for now. "I could have Boba Fett on my hip," he teased, not at all serious, "but I doubt we could count my hypothetical one as a lot. Since it isn't even real."

Then he gave a slight nod. "Party Remus," he spoke a loud. He always found it to be moderately amusing as an identifier but he had grown fond of it. "I have also been told I am Suave Moony," he informed her. Then he grinned further. "Yeah. I taught him how to dance."

Then he sucked in a slow breath before nodding his head. "They suck," he stated simply. He had far more angry words, ones that he had shouted for hours before collapsing in a heap of sadness, a repeated cycle for the first few days.

“I’m just fine with Theodora if you like it better,” she responded, shrugging. “My Granddad calls me Theodora pretty regularly, especially when I’m in trouble. Which is a lot. When he’s not grumpy, it’s ‘Bluebird.” She gestured to her hair, which was its usual shade of bright blue. “And if you did, I’d be totally thrilled. Star Wars isn’t so much my thing, but it’s still badass.” She grinned. “I’ve got four.” And the toga made it easy enough to point them out, so she did so, gesturing to the feather on her foot, the star over her collarbone, the birds on her shoulder, and the odd doodle on her upper arm.

“Suave Moony is a pretty sassy name,” she said, grinning at it. “I’m not surprised! I’m making him teach me, but we’ll see how that actually works. I’ve got two left feet that like to tangle up on themselves.”
