It's a civil war in Tau Block! As such, Tau is putting into place the following restriction: attempting to cause any real physical harm to another of her Taken (whether by fists or magic or something else entirely) will cause the assailant to freeze in place until one of the puppies touches them. (Which one certainly will eventually, they're very responsive to a) anger and b) people doing weird things like standing stock still in violent poses.)

Additionally, Eris Lupin^17-squib has been granted a staff. It does not come with any powers like Duke's crown, largely because Tau does not feel that she needs them. However, Eris may find that it will perform a couple of simple charms for her, such as Lumos and Accio, despite her status as a squib.
