Who: Hannah and Jane Potterswap What: First meeting! Where: Near the gigantic Christmas tree, later on their Unit in Gamma? When: After this! Rating: A for Adorable
Jane felt as if she was freezing. An August baby to the core, she had never responded well to cooler temperatures, much to her displeasure, and now as she stood in her flannel pajamas near this gigantic Christmas tree, all she could do was thank Merlina that she remembered to wear both socks and slippers before being Taken to wherever she was now. Thinking things through had never been her strong suit, because if she had she would have waited to find the block she was supposed to be in before cracking it open.
Shivering slightly, Jane looked around at the other people milling around the commons, but no one looked very familiar to her. She presumed that they were all either in their beds warming up like normal people or shopping in the little village that apparently was outside of the confines of the Compound, so she would wait until her mother showed up to hopefully take her back to their home.
Speaking of her Mum, how old would she be? Obviously Sirilla couldn't be more than 35, and if Jane and Luke Potter were here as Teddy said, they couldn't be older than 21, so it was possible that her own mom could be either really young or really old. She hoped that she was at least finished Hogwarts, and it'd even be better if she was married already. At the very least, Hannah Potter seemed to realize that she was, in fact, her daughter, and that was good news for her.
After a few minutes, she saw someone who looked vaguely familiar to her approach, and upon a closer glance, came to the conclusion that this was her mother. Her hair was longer, and she was young, probably no more than 18, but the familiar scar was there, comforting in its own right. Stepping forward, Jane called out, "Mum?" her voice breaking slightly. She hadn't seen her mum in her own time since September first, and it was now the end of November. "Hi," Jane greeted, walking a bit closer. "I'm Jane...your daughter."
