Today, on my way to lunch, I heard something that sounded suspiciously like someone crying. When I stopped and looked around, I found a Slytherin first year on top of one of those giant pig-head wall sconces in the entrance hall, stuck up there! The poor boy was afraid of heights, on top of everything else, and people kept coming by and laughing at him. I had to calm him down for fifteen minutes until he would let me levitate him down.
Potter. Black. I know this is your fault. Picking on first years is not funny. Don't play innocent, I know it was you. What has he ever done to you except be sorted into Slytherin? They haven't even been here long enough to annoy you, not that that would be an excuse. I'd ask you to have a little compassion, only I'm not sure you're capable, if you think that's a clever joke! If you must be horrible bullies, at least pick on someone who can put up a fight.

It's miserable outside which means that I am also miserable. Why does autumn have to be so wet? It isn't even proper rain, it's just drizzle. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that the temperature has lowered itself so that less people are wandering around with humidity-induced beehives on their heads in place of hair, but the wet dog look is just as bad. Completely unflattering.
That being said, my time indoors is at least being put to good use. I'm formulating a serum that'll hopefully alleviate the effects of drizzy rain on perfectly styled hair. I think I almost have it. I just need to test it. So who feels like taking a little walk outside, in the name of scientific beauty?
