When Lysander didn't bother to deny her accusation, Emily sighed and shook her head. The worst of it was that they both knew that when they got back to the flat and Lysander was dead tired at 6PM, she would complain about it but get into bed with him anyway, and then they'd both have ruined sleep schedules.
She knew that he was only joking about intending to make her miserable. It was interesting to think about, really; how they said most of the same things to each other as they always had, but context and tone and body language lent the words entirely different meanings. Emily took another drink of her coffee, wrapping both her hands around the cup, and then smirked at Lysander over the rim as he accused her of intending to mar his reputation at work. She didn't deny it, only replied "I'll do my duty to my team, sure...just as I'm sure you'll be telling the other photographers to give the new ginger a wide berth as she's really a dragon in disguise."
