"Sorry..." Laurel remarked sheepishly, but it wasn't the first time it happened and most likely won't be the last. She always got wrapped up in what she was passionate about and being 'brought here' Laurel had to earn her dues twice as hard as other who are from here so since she got this job, she's been working her ass off. She placed her hands in her lap, smelling the pizza start to cook, her stomach grumbling, "I don't think I've ate at all today, I need to get some granola bars to put in the office, like I did at work."
"Speaking of eating, what are you doing for dinner?" She looked at him, warm smile on her face. "I was thinking about ordering in or maybe going out. I still have a few things to finish, but be nice to get out."
