So, I'm back from Indonesia. Apparently my boss (and her boss, and his boss) really liked the pieces I wrote about my time following around a bunch of Cursebreakers trying to deal with an unregistered animagus who liked to steal things. Apparently my writing is witty and informative. Apparently I'm getting a weekly column? My editor wants it to be called 'Finn-ishing Up', But I'd like something like 'All in the Details' or if my name has to be in it 'Finding Finn' or something less ridiculous. What do you all reckon?

	I understand the self-loathing. Not so much the weirdness (as I do not know what is weird to be able to see it that way) and the friends screwing (as I know people who have sex but do not know much more than "these people have sex at some point" since it isn't with me). I don't know about everyone, but it doesn't seem to be an uncommon trait in a lot of people to experience at least one moment of self-loathing in a lifetime. What's brought about your current bought of self-loathing, if I may ask?

If she'd like to come, I don't see that being a problem at all. I'll say if it's some time during the week I'd prefer a place that has a faster service just so I'm not pushing it to get back to work.

Ugh my self-loathing descends from the fact that I had two one-night stands in a two week period. The first one I was sort of... Fully in control of my faculties for. The second one I was completely and utterly drunk and I just... feel a bit dirty from it. But that was completely oversharing!

That sounds perfect, and we can definitely go somewhere with quick service. If it's during the week and I'm not out fact checking etc then I only have about forty-five minutes anyway.

I don't know if it helps, but I didn't think that was over-sharing. I think you gave enough information to answer the question without going into excessive details. And this sounds harsh, and for that I apologise as I'm not very good with words and these kinds of interactions and don't have much experience with one-night stands, but it does sound like that the positive to this is that you have possibly learned from the experience? At least in terms of sleeping with someone while completely and utterly drunk given how you're feeling about it right now. But I don't think you're dirty from either or or both of those things. ~~Not that my opinion matters here~~

Definitely somewhere quick then. Also, it might be good to go a little after the initial lunch rush, that way the place isn't too crowded, and our service isn't unintentionally hindered by it.

If the column is not about you specifically, your name should not be in the title. Otherwise, it sounds like you're writing about just your own experiences, and that is misleading. Were I to read something called "Finding Finn," I would expect it to be about someone named Finn, either as the narrator or a main element to the article or story. Otherwise, something like "Cursebreaker Chronicles" or "Consorting with Cursebreakers" are probably better suited to such a column. It's far less misleading.

	Hmmm true enough although I won't necessarily be following Cursebreakers around all the time so it needs to be something that links all the various experiences together, which is me. Of course I could go all literary and call it Crime and Punishment or something equally asinine and ridiculous. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

You mentioned Cursebreakers but not that it would not be about them, so hopefully you can understand where the suggested Cursebreaking titles came from. If it is meant to be about following various careers and the like, then you could go with "Collins Crusade(s)," and for each career you pick to follow, you could have it say, "Collins Crusade(s) with [the career or person or whatever you're doing here]." That way, readers know it's your adventure, but it's your adventure tagging along with whoever you tag along with on that particular adventure.

	I actually really like Collin's Crusade! Particularly because the reason I write as Finn Collins as opposed to Dennis Creevey is to honour my brother. Also it works in terms of me being all concerned with justice and crime, me going off and travelling to places, and me using the column for a bit of social commentary. So really, thank you!
