Percy shrugged, then picked up his cup for sip of tea. He opened his mouth to reply when Lucy came by with a glass that was much larger than what Percy usually prepared for her and shakily put it on the table. He bit his lip in order to not laugh at the sight as she then looked expectantly at Charlie. She patted his lap, then held her arms out, all but demanding he pick her up and sit her there. Percy held his hands up, anticipating his brother looking his way and decidedly staying out of it.
"This little one convinced me because she thought we needed to help Alicia's Foundation-"
"And," Lucy chimed in, "Grandma Molly said you needed a date, and there are dates at the raffle." She then looked up at Charlie, a curious look on her face. "Uncle Charlie, what's a date and why does Daddy need one?"
