"She's got a point. Plus I think you're a bit less bitey than the gnomes tend to be," Charlie said, amused. "Or at least I hope you are, because biting is really not good manners."

He walked in, smiling. He did enjoy visiting family, especially when there were children around. "It's less the self-employment and more the fact Monday and Tuesday function as my weekend. And I wouldn't say no to tea or coffee, please." Charlie rarely said no to caffeine, it was definitely his preferred vice.

"So, how was your day?" he asked, directing his question to Percy, but perfectly happy to listen to answers from either Percy or Lucy.
