Lucy's playing paused when the knock came at the door. "Who's that, Daddy?" she asked with wide-eyed curiosity.
"Ah, I believe that should be Uncle Charlie here to-" Before he'd even finished speaking, she jumped up from the piano bench and sprinted to the front door.
He took his time getting up, already hearing the door being pulled open with a loud Uncle Charlie!, and he had no doubt that Lucy was currently throwing herself at her uncle for a hug and maybe a pick up off the ground. Whatever his problems with his siblings in the past, they were all loving to Lucy, and Percy couldn't ask for anything more.
He stepped into the hall and looked toward them, a fond smile upon his face. "Good evening, Charlie. I see you've been properly greeted. How was your day?"
