Pandora grinned over at her. It was nice, she thought randomly, to not be hell of a lot shorter than everyone around her for the first time in a while. "Well, you look fabulous, but you're not playing dress up. You're a grown-up just like I supposedly am." Though there were days she felt much more like a little kid.
"Thanks. I haven't felt like doing it in a while," she said. She'd always taken a particular pleasure in playing with her hair with charms, one of the few things she'd done at school that not everyone had approved of. "Been too busy and too tired, though I'm still busy and tired, I suppose." She tugged a green streak, feeling almost pretty for a moment, something she rarely let herself do.
"No, I think I'll have something with chocolate in it," she replied with a laugh. "I've already had a couple cups of 'and no one needs to die yet' today, luckily for everyone," she joked, and turned to order something with both chocolate and coffee in it as well as an eclair, which she cast covetous eyes on when she saw it.
She tilted her head toward the seats as their drinks were being made, silently asking which ones they wanted. "So, tell me about this interview," she said.
