Hermione wasn't really hungry. She knew she had told Viktor they'd meet for lunch but some of the topics today had gnawed at the pit in her stomach. The feeling was always there in the back of her mind just waiting to rear its ugly head. "A light salad will be fine," she said not wanting to offend by not eating but knowing that her stomach would allow her to handle such.
"I'm just glad I'm a quick study," Hermione said not really wanting to go into the difference between worlds right now. Usually she didn't mind talking about them but seeing as those were key issues in the war she wasn't in the mood to dissect them.
"Frustrating," Hermione ventured not quite sure if the word worked. However, she could see how chasing a little one all night could exasperate one after a long day.
"Work is well. I've been handling the paperwork for a majority of the cases that are cut and dry. House elf law is my own project that I'm working on outside of work." She had toyed with the idea for the past few years and had finally decided that it was time to begin working toward a goal she'd set for herself several years ago.
