Hermione hadn't seen Viktor in awhile and her body was making note of it far more than she wished. She knew this was the reason Ron had such an objection to their keeping in touch. Fortunately, Hermione also knew that the body's reaction was simply that a physical reaction that could be thwarted by the mind as long as one focused to do so. Regardless, she was extremely grateful when she was finally seated across from Viktor where there would be little to no chance of further physical contact.

"I'll take a butterbeer," she nodded taking note of the pint he pushed to the side. It was moments like this when she was glad she did not drink. She couldn't help but smile at his comparison between her as Tsveta. "Tell her it was my pleasure. She is lucky that she knows she's a witch," Hermione stated. "It was difficult for me at times to rationalize the thing around me when I was younger because they didn't fit into my reality. You can't imagine my relief when the Ministry representative arrived at our house and explained everything." She gave a light laugh as she pictured Viktor chasing the small boy around. "Surely he can't be faster than a snitch."
