Penny had always been one of the only two people (the other being Oliver) that Percy allowed to call him by nickname. Others did it anyway, but against his wishes. He resisted the urge to check himself in the mirror in case there had been something on his cheek, her touch having made him feel the slightest bit self-conscious, but he easily shrugged off the sentiment.
"Ah, but your dinner and the wealth of knowledge in your library are priceless." He smiled and approached the table, picking up her bottle first. "Discussions such as these are often done best on a full stomach," he said, pulling out his wand to cast and uncorking spell. "And it sounds like an excellent arrangement."
He poured out the wine, smiling fondly at Hermes' occasional antics that Penelope knew so well. "No lie-in, sleep was too elusive last night. And Hermes did seek out extra breakfast, nearly snatched a piece of toast from my fingers at lunch."
Once the wine was poured, he sat down and waited for her to join him. He was glad she started with more mundane affairs; it would help him forget his worries for a little while, at least. "Oh, she was predictably distraught," he teased back. "Any more distraught and her mother would be wondering what I've been doing with her during our days together." He smirked as he served himself some of the wonderful smelling food. "And yourself? Did you pass a relaxing Saturday? Or at least a productive one?"
