RP: a jog through the Alley
Who: Cormac & OPEN
What: Mac goes for a jog in the evening.
Where: Monument Alley, the fountain
When: Saturday, October 4th, evening
Rating: SFW

After shutting up the shop and sending his weekly announcement, Cormac threw on sweats and running shoes and took himself out through the front door of the sports shop. The flight with Alicia the day before had gotten his blood pumping and he felt excited to be active again. The workouts he got with Lavender were of another caliber entirely, of course, but there was something about just working up a good old fashioned clean sweat in the name of good living.

The evening air was cool, and there was a slight wetness to the air that he wouldn't call a drizzle, but it felt pleasant on his skin as he locked up the front door and then warded the building and turned to start his run.

He looped down past Finnigan's, noticing a nice crowd building for Saturday night, and pasted his own shop again on his way back. Next was Sweet Nothing's and eventually he hit the book store and Quickpulse, and then stopped at the fountain to stretch.

Deep breaths and a stroll around the fountain, he leaned down every so often to crack a joint or pull a certain way, but mostly he just enjoyed the moment with a small smile on his face.

Marietta had finished her shift at Fourish and Blotts a little early. It seemed more and more that business was creeping into Monument Alley and out of Diagon. At least as far as the younger generation was concerned. The store dealt exclusively in Wizarding books which made for a limited stock.

Of course, this had given her plenty of time dress for the evening and head to the park where her client for the night had said they should meet a little after dark. Normally, it wasn't the sort of deal she would have made, but this request had been one of her regulars and he'd wanted to change up their meeting place so she'd allowed it.

After strolling around for awhile she made her way to a bench near the fountain. As she settled in she saw a familiar face come around the bend. Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath she hoped that he wouldn't recognize her, or that if he did their interaction was quick enough so as not to interfere with her evening plans.
