Susan smiled and leant forward to reached down into the depths of her bag to tuck her book away and grab an umbrella. "Right, where do you want to go to first," she asked, standing up and kissing Lucy on each cheek. "I was thinking maybe Oxford Street, then there's a great little store on Monument that can do any alterations we can't manage ourselves."
She walked outside, glad for the jacket she was wearing and looked at her friend. "Do you want to side-along with me?" She had a rather firm suspicion that as Lucy had left the magical world before her seventeenth birthday, she probably wouldn't have got her license and thus possibly wasn't accustomed to apparating and disapparating. "It'll be fun, and much quicker than messing about with the tube, don't you think?"
