Lucy hated shopping for clothes - especially the kind of clothes she'd have to wear to her work event. Her height did not suit itself to finding things that fit her easily and she almost always had to hem or take in or otherwise adjust. That wasn't too difficult on t-shirts and jeans, but fancy dresses, blouses or skirts proved much more challenging. Besides, she never looked natural in dresses - something about her body type.
Still, she put on a smile as she walked from the tube to the Leaky Cauldron. It was becoming a familiar walk by now, which in itself felt strange. If she had to shop, at least she'd have company. Inside, she spotted Susan easily and went to stand by her table. "Ready as I'll ever be," she agreed, making a face.
