Where: Pinky's Ink, Monument Alley
When: Friday, October 3, mid-afternoon

"Shit, damn, fucking fuck!" Stacey exclaimed loudly just as the door chimed to announce someone entering the shop. With a sigh, she glared at the broken bottle of ink in the booth she'd been cleaning after an appointment, more irritated with herself at knocking it over than anything else. The floor was tile, so it was easy enough to get cleaned up again, but she usually wasn't so clumsy.

"Just a sec!" she called out, knowing that she should hope that she should care if a potential customer had heard her outburst but not quite finding the mental capacity for it. With a flick of her wand the broken glass was Banished and the tile was once again shiny white, and she took one last glance around the booth before stepping out towards the front desk.

"Sorry about that," she offered as she walked up, reaching up to pull her hair out of the ponytail she'd thrown it into before she'd started work on the last client. "How can I help you today?"

Stacey giggled at Romeo's enthusiasm, glancing over his shoulder at the book he'd chosen. She'd done all the sketches, though some were old enough that she barely recalled them.

Grinning at his compliments, she laughed at his teasing tone, not at all bothered by the physical closeness. "That's how most people are," she commented, because she'd seen a number of individuals who were nervous about the first tattoo, and then just kept coming back for more ink. "I started thinking about by first tattoo when I was only seven."

"Right," Romeo said with a slightly awkward smile. It turned much more genuine when she mentioned having wanted a tattoo since she was seven. "I bet you were a very sweet seven year old," he said shyly. "But shall we, um, shall we talk about the tattoo I am going to get? Do you think we could get started today?"

As much as he had come up with the idea of getting a tattoo as an excuse to meet her, to be up close and personal with her, he really had warmed to the idea and he loved the thought of having his family tattooed on him, to be kept with him for the rest of his life.
