"Sometimes," she answered with a small nod. "I lived in Las Vegas for a year, and I saw that happen all the time. Never seemed like it was a good idea, to let someone make that sort of decision when they weren't in full control of all their mental capacities." It had never sat well with her, seeing her colleagues inking people who may not have wanted the art in the normal state of mind, and once she'd established her own place, she'd come to the conclusion that she wouldn't allow for that.
Humming a little in thought at his question, Stacey answered, "It would depend. Probably not, though admittedly I have once tattooed a woman who was in tears after the funeral of her husband. She wanted a memorial of him, and I didn't turn her away. So I guess it would depend on the situation."
