Orla Quirke ([info]quirkybeater) wrote in [info]finnigans_rpg,
Although she hadn't meant to potentially seriously hurt Vikesh Moon, Orla Quirke had meant to, well, distract him. And maybe enact a little bit of revenge for him nearly hitting her in the head. (Really, why didn't they have headgear in this sport?) But mostly she'd meant to distract him from being able to really help defend his other teammates. Sure, it may not have been the best method out there since it did result in an injury, but it was effective. And it may or may not have been one reason why she was occasionally seen as just a bit mental on the pitch. Of the pitch, though? Anything but. At least, that's how she saw it. But if she were mental off the pitch, why would she have come to see if Vikesh were alright?

Orla had waited until everyone (reports, teammates, trainers, and other miscellaneous people) had cleared the locker room before making her own exit. Instead of heading out to celebrate or home to rest, she made her way toward the Bats' changing room, idly wondering if the Muggle t-shirt and shorts had been a good idea given the mild chill of the stadium's interior (though she had to admit it did feel cool on her skin after such an intense game). She wanted to make sure Moon was okay and that he knew she wasn't trying to kill him. She even felt a bit guilty for nearly knocking him off his broom, and she considered complimenting him on both his ability to hold on and his ability to keep playing. She'd have to see how the encounter went before doing so, of course. If he were angry with her and yelling, well, she'd leave immediately and to hell with compliments.

Spotting a figure ahead of her, she picked up her pace, delighted to see the figure was exactly who she'd been looking for. "Hi," she said with a smile as she stopped in front of him. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry about the shoulder. Are you alright?" She glanced from his face to his shoulder and back again, genuine concern on her face.
