Despite your supportive words, I'm nervous about the prospect of doing my work without magic. I would also be required to not talk about the magical world around the Muggles who don't know about our existence, as I would be working with both. What if I forget myself and create an incident? And even worse... how will my family react to the news? You know I've done my best not to announce any of my promotions since reuniting with my family - I know it's illogical but I still fear a reaction like that first one. And what of Lucy, at the Ministry I have the luxury of bringing her in to work as she's extremely well-behaved and I head up my own sub-division, but at the Parliament, I wouldn't be able to take her in with me.
