Pansy had wanted to see what this Queer night was all about; some of her closest friends had decided to walk this path, and she wanted to know all she could about it in order to support them. Also, Queer night was turning out to be quite popular, and there was some sort of business opportunity there. She just hadn't figured it all out yet.

On the plus side, she really did enjoy the attention some of the patrons paid to her. She knew she looked good, but it was always nice to have validation of just how good from outside sources. She didn't care if that attention came from someone female, in fact enjoyed it rather more because she knew women were twice as judgemental of their own sex than men were of women.

She ordered herself a glass of wine, and looked around for a good vantage point. She wanted a good view of the crowd, but also to make it clear she wasn't there to socialize, so much as get the lay of the land. The tall tables were just the ticket, and she made her way over. A group of young men wearing far too much glitter for her taste vacated one just as she arrived, but she found she wasn't alone in wanting the table.
