Charlie nodded thoughtfully, he knew some bits of central London, but mostly he just liked to explore when he was out and about.

"Hagrid's great, the animals thing endeared me to him, but... hmm, I'm not sure he'd be the best teacher, although I'll grant he's good with animals himself." Bit too enthusiastic about the more dangerous ones, and a little too much trust in them. See: Norberta. "The wonders of magic, it usually changes colours, but I have to charm it when I've got it exposed in front of Muggles," he said with a grin. Thankfully not a tricky transformation. "Nah, I don't mind so much," he said, and quickly explained where he got it. "They were great and I was fucking relieved to get off my arse and on my feet again. 'Course then I had to deal with the smothering my mother calls care for a bit." He was more amused than critical though, and anyone else who criticised his mother tended to find the pointy end of his wand. "I figured I like music, I like to move, to dance, couldn't see why every other bugger with itchy feet wouldn't too, and Queer nights were mostly Seamus' idea, but they've been going well so far," he said.

Charlie started off at an easy lope with her, his stride not quite as even as it once was as his prosthetic flicked forwards from the knee, but it was easy for him to keep up. "Sounds good to me," he said. He was used to runs of up to half an hour or more so it wouldn't be too bad.
