Stretching her toe, Rose pulled herself closer to Rolf, first arching her back to roll her hips against his and then pushing out her chest to shift herself that small distance that would put her flush against his warm, solid form. Her own fingers were trailing slowly up and down his spine, caressing, touching, familiarising and recognising the man who had meant more than most for years.
His admission that he had already gotten used to having her here had her smile and turn her face up to meet one of his small kisses. “It feels right, doesn’t it?” she smiled, deepening the kiss just a smidgen and tightened her arm around his waist. “I wish you could come, too,” she whispered. “One day, we’ll go. We’ll go everywhere.”
