We're journaling in the same house because keeping my head right here under the pillow and only having to deal with the scratch of the quill is by far preferable to being upright and having your voice (or any voice for that matter) bounce around my head.

You shouldn't be appalled. This is me doing us both a favour. You're welcome to come join me in bed. It's more comfortable than the sofa AND I have a pillow you can hide under too.
