As amusing as that might be, I think my manager would have a fit if I miss a game, and you don't want the Puddlemere front office mad at you, let me tell you." He was joking, but he was actually thinking he wouldn't mind spending more time here, especially with Melinda, especially with how she was looking at him.
"Many years of therapy," he said solemnly. Her comment about her birthday made Oliver raise his eyebrow and look back down at her. "That's a crime. A beautiful girl like you deserves a romantic birthday. One to remember at least. How can I help make that up to you?"
