Adrian gave Blaise a tired smile, "Sometimes I just need to see your face, what can I say?"

Shaking his head, his face getting a bit more serious, he said, "But honestly? I could use your advice..." He wasn't sure if he should continue, feeling quite the idiot. Getting a bird into your bed he was accomplished in, he'd never had 'trouble' with birds, but a woman. A woman you wanted for more than an evening. This was brand new territory.

Taking a breath to steel himself, he looked Blaise right in the face and said, "How do you know when to keep a woman around for more than a one off? Or, rather," he reconsidered, because obviously Alicia was more than that to him, far far more, "How do you navigate that point in the relationship when it's not just between the two of you anymore." He didn't raise it as a question, rather a statement of purpose.
