Out of curiosity, you wouldn't ask someone out on a date unless you were interested in them, right? Otherwise, it's just a friendly thing.

	I'd say that person would have to be interested in you, yeah. I mean, you are right to think that if it's between friends, it's just 'hanging out'. Otherwise, I'd advise you to ask said person just to make sure there is no confusion. (Reply to this) (Thread)
