Dennis Creevey: Post-Stakeout #40
Hello people!

Did you know that the Healers at St Mungo's have a fabulous sense of humour? Because they do. Particularly when a Goblin punches you in a gut and pushes you through a shop window. Bed rest is very boring though.

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was actually pretty damn excellent!

Also, here's that article I was wandering around the Ministry trying to get quotes on last week!

I should probably put the journal down now though, I'm getting severe looks from the Chief Healer.

	Heh, it wasn't so much a fight as apparently I'm the same height as someone who owes them money. Apparently that was enough reason to jump me, punch me in the stomach a couple of times and throw me through a window. At least I didn't have to badger you for quotes for my article? Ha! I'm sorry about the height thing! If it's any consolation the whole being tall thing happened rather surprisingly. But yeah I think you're right about the whole attack thing. I'm trying extremely hard to not take it personally. I'm failing, I will admit, but I am trying.

I definitely didn't want to get you in trouble mate, so I'm glad I didn't. I talked off the record to one of the high ups in the department in any case. They were pissed off at the attacks something fierce.

	If it's a true case of mistaken identity and the mindset that all tall males must be the same tall male, I don't think it's personal. I doubt that helps, though. I also always appreciate not getting in trouble. At least you managed to find people to speak with you. I can see why it would upset people. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	There's probably an element of "All humans look the same" as well, I reckon? I think we all appreciate not getting in trouble, although I'm sure you could get out of most tight spots with a grin eh? There might be, especially if it's anything like wizards and witches having a that type of mindset about other magical creatures that aren't human. That doesn't excuse the attack, of course, but it might explain it and make it less personal that it likely came off at the time.

I've never actually tried. Getting out of trouble with a grin, that is. I have tried grinning itself, however.

I hope your family stays safe.

I know exactly what you mean actually. Never fear, I don't blame goblins, just the individual who I am assured is slightly smarter than a shovel.

I would be more than willing to give you some one on one training in the Art of Getting Out of Things By Smiling if you'd like? Which ah, may seem like a come on but I swear it's more of a let's-be-friends-on.
