No matter what Oliver or Pansy thought, at least now Marcus was firmly unattainable. "She's a very lucky girl." And I'm completely heartbroken, he'd have liked to have said. "I must meet her some day, I can't believe I didn't know you had a girlfriend," he added instead.

"You're an easy boy to please," Roger said teasingly, smiling properly despite himself. "I'm glad you like my plan for the day." He tilted his head and stared pointedly at Marcus for a second. "Cap, the Tube network is like a Cretan maze! Except that it's not a maze. Also you can't get out just by keeping your hand on one wall and following the path..." He made a face and continued, "So really what I'm saying is that it's nothing like a Cretan maze ignore that. It's like a... thing that is hard. Not in a dirty way."

Roger grinned at Marcus and made an apologetic face. "Sorry for casting the charm on you by the by, I just sort of um... Sorry." Shaking his embarrassment off, he made a flourishing gesture at the building in front of them. "This is the Clock Tower, also known as Big Ben. It's part of the British Parliament which governs the country. Technically the Minister for Magic has a seat in the House of Commons, but the Muggles don't know it. D'you want to take a closer look?"
