Roger grinned impishly and leant forward. "That's nothing. There's nearly three hundred tube stations across London, you know? Plus theres the overground. I couldn't even tell you how many there are across the whole country." He watched Marcus as he looked around at the carriage, overwhelmed with a desire to wrap an arm around him and rest his head on his shoulder. He knew it was stupid, but it took every ounce of self control to not go through with it.
He grinned at Marcus as he came to stand next to him. "That wasn't so bad, was it?"
Exiting the station had been one of the funniest experiences Roger had ever had. He'd exited through the gates properly, but Marcus had some difficulty getting through before the gate started to shut on him. It had taken hitherto unknown levels of composure to not laugh at the deeply offended look on Marcus' face. He grinned and looked at Marcus speculatively. "How about we get a snack, then tattoos, then poke around the markets," he asked, leading the way towards a little hole in the wall he knew with the best takeaway.
