Coming to Wingbeats had been a mistake. With Rose and Rolf off in Greece in their weird form of foreplay, Dennis had had the flat to himself. It'd been good initially - at least after he'd de-warded the third drawer in the kitchen to stop it from vomiting tea towels at him - and he'd got a lot of writing done, but after a while he'd got bored. Normally he would have gone and bothered Seamus, or Susan, or maybe Ginny, but he didn't want to talk to Seamus yet and he had the vague feeling that the girls were busy. What he really wanted was to get laid. Thus, he'd showered, put on some cologne, got dressed up and headed out.

He'd been sitting nursing a drink for nearly half an hour, unaware that his taunt shoulders and sad expression were off-putting to the number of looking over at him speculatively. He'd just decided to give in for the night when a short, but definitely cute guy leaned in with a flirty smile. "Hi, I'm Dennis," he replied, smiling slightly and looking down at his mostly full glass. Shrugging slightly, he downed the drink and put it down. "Sure, that'd be great."
