Seamus laughed at Justin's story, and pulled him in a little closer. Romance was something Seamus wanted in his life, but he didn't talk about it. He might complain to close friends when his sex life had dried up, and occasionally Dean put up with his moods following the end of another attempted 'relationship', but he never really talked about wanting that. He was even less inclined now. His freak out at Dennis had only solidified in his mind that it wasn't something he was ever going to get. If he couldn't trust old friends, what were the chances of him trusting someone new?
"I'm sure muggle science seems almost magical to us in some ways," Seamus said with a shrug. He gestured at the movie, paused waiting on the screen. "We don't have anything like this really." It was a much easier conversation to have. "Like you said, magic is 'anything we don't understand', so television is just a different kind of magic. To me, at least." He knew there must be people who understood how televisions worked in order to make them, but to Seamus they were every bit as mysterious as what it was exactly that made spells work. Spells and televisions were things other people made that he could use.
He smiled at Justin's attempt to fit himself into his schedule. "We'll keep finding time. Not giving this up now I've got it. Not without a fight."
