Who: Dominic and OPEN
What: After work drinks and conversation
Where: The Common Room, Finnigan's
When: 6.30ish
Rating: SFW

Even after a cleaning charm, Dominic could feel the sand under his fingernails. Apparently the stuff was as hard to get out via magical means as it was the muggle way. His clothes and hair carried a vague scent of salt and coconut and his mind felt tired. He'd spent the afternoon in The Roost experimenting with the space and the charms he would use for Dean's Caribbean-inspired birthday. He hadn't even started on the Starry Night ceiling that Susan had suggested, or the steel drum sounds Seamus had requested. Those would be tomorrow's jobs.

Tired as he was (mentally, it hadn't been physically demanding work) he was pleased with the results he'd achieved. Even though they'd been temporary, he'd been pleased with the sand and the bar and the scented air. After returning the room to its usual Thursday night state, he'd stayed to watch the first of the Wizarding Chess matches. Now, though, he was ready for a drink. The Common Room was quiet, most people down in the Den listening to the Quidditch. Though he supported Kenmare (as well as Ballycastle), Dominic preferred the chance of conversation offered by the main room. So, drink in hand, he surveyed the tables looking for a place to sit.
