His words-definitely remember-made her blush all the harder and she giggled only slightly at his compliment. Was he checking her out? No, he couldn't be, she thought, though she slipped her wedding ring surreptitiously off her finger and into her pocket in those few minutes. Perhaps it was nothing, but it couldn't hurt to flirt? Especially with things at home as tense and joyless as she could ever remember them being. It was nice to be appreciated, at the least. She tucked her hair being her ear and showed him around the shop.
She smiled happily when he complimented the lights. "Thank you! I really wanted to set a MOOD in here. Really, the place that needs the most help is the perfume area," she said, leading him to a part of the shop near the back which was not unattractive, but much more utilitarian than she preferred. "It's just kind of...boring, compared to the rest of the shop. And as you can see, no built in shelves or anything interesting to help people find the scents that suit them best. I want something...something..." she tried to search for the word and then just shrugged and smiled, "Sexier." It was the only word that fit hat she wanted.
