Megan had had a much less exciting afternoon, though no less enjoyable. For her, there was no greater pleasure than making customers happy, particularly when she received an own from her husband-he'd be out late, don't wait up. It was the third night he'd said that, and as much as she hated being at home and the lack of anything she had to say to him and the desperate desire to avoid the awkward topic of making it to the bedroom together, she was starting to wonder if things were going on that she didn't really understand. Having a nice distraction in the form of a remodel was just what she needed.
She heard the knock and a smile spread on her face as she rushed to the door, an apologetic grin. "Sorry to keep you waiting. Hallo! I'm Megan. I don't know that we've met properly," she said, holding out her hand and blushing at realizing his attractiveness. Well. "I'm so glad you've come, I'm in need of something new. Come in, come in!" she said, shooing him inside and stepping back so he could take in thestore. "As you can see, we like a little atmosphere here."
