Greg really wasn't giving over too much thought to Percy's living arrangements. Whatever the reason for her parents living apart, at least Lucy still had two parents. That could only be a good thing. It also hadn't really answered his question, but he supposed if Percy had more kids he'd have said so.
A little surprised, Greg shook Percy's hand. To him it wasn't that big a deal, he wasn't going to get in trouble for moving stock around - not if he waited for a good opportunity and made sure to replace the custard cremes with something else and not leave an empty space. But he shrugged and shook his head, mumbling something about the cash register being more of a worry than George. He stepped back just as another customer pushed through the door, looking flustered. Greg's jaw tensed a little and he nodded at Percy before heading over to see what the stranger needed.
