"Of course you would darling, I'm a total catch," Susan said with a smirk before nodding. "You're far too much like family for me. Also, far too gay. I don't mind bisexual or pansexual men - they're interested in me. But gay men seem so singularly unimpressed when I crack on to them," she lamented, before laughing at her own joke.
She smiled sadly at him, and hugged him. "We do, and we love you. Maybe it's a matter of letting your defences down, maybe with someone you know? Letting them in and giving it a go. It's like riding a broom, once you do it, you never forget how."
