Roger looked at him blankly for a moment, trying to figure out exactly how he knew the man standing in front of him. The fact that he couldn't recall immediately, meant he was either drunk or in excruciating pain when they'd met, neither of which was a good option. "Hi Healer Ernie MacMillan, I'm Roger Davies," he said stepping aside to let the man into the flat, then leading him up the stairs to the living room. "Wesley made me promise to have one last checkup today, as I went out drinking last night. He seemed to be of the rather tart opinion that I would try and swim in the Thames or invade France or something like that."
He sat down on the sofa and flicked on the TV to play the BBC news quietly, and looked up at the man. "I don't know what he actually wanted to check on? His wife was fairly pregnant, which I'm guessing is the reason why you're here this morning and not him."
