Dennis shook his head defiantly. "I've been busy, you've been busy, Rose's been off having a fat man fall on her. It's none of our faults that we've been a bit shit at seeing one another." In a way, it'd been good that he'd moved in just a week before Rose went on mission. It'd given him time to settle in and to get over the worse of his sadness before having to deal with people outside of work again.
"Oh, Rolf," he replied, smiling properly at the deeply protective look on his friends face. He knew that Rolf could be a bit of a spitfire when it came to his friends. "That would be," he paused and made a face, because even though he knew it probably wasn't right, he nevertheless loved the idea. "That would be both awesome and horrible at the same time actually."
He allowed himself to be tugged onto the couch, where he collapsed bonelessly on top of the other man, who laughed breathlessly at him. "What did you bring, anyway," he asked, feeling some of the old cheekiness returning.
