Dennis allowed himself to be engulfed in a fierce hug, and instantly felt his body relax. There was something comforting about being held by someone who was of a similar height to you, but who you also didn't want to sleep with. Rolf was safe.
Sighing, he rested his head against Rolf's shoulder, focusing on not crying again. "You haven't been a crap friend at all," he replied thickly, squeezing the other man a little tighter. "I do appreciate company and gifts though," he added with a watery smile.
