Blaise & Pansy
Who: Blaise & Pansy
What: Club times!
Where: Wingbeats
When: Saturday night, 11pm onwards
Rating: We'll see

Dressed to kill in a little red number, Pansy took one last look at her reflection to make sure nothing was out of place. She knew Blaise would laugh at her for putting in such effort, but Pansy didn't do it for him, or any other man. Or not entirely. She liked to always be at her best; it allowed her a sense of power and purpose that didn't come with common jeans and t-shirts. Pansy would never be caught dead in such things, not even for a night at a dimly lit club run by a Weasley of all people.

Satisfied that she'd be the best dressed woman in the club, she slipped her feet into the shoes and grabbed her clutch. The shoes gave the illusion of being high, but in actuality wouldn't add an inch to her height. Pansy hated to be taller than the man she was with for the evening. She didn't know how Muggle women handled it.

"Mistress, Master Zabini is waiting in the reception room," Nattie said, giving Pansy a nod of approval when Pansy did a turn for her. Pansy trusted that her Elf would let her know if anything didn't suit her; she'd trained her well. "You look beautiful Mistress. You'll shame all the other women."

Pansy gave Nattie a soft smile reserved just for her, then headed through her spacious flat into the reception room where Blaise was waiting. "Hello, darling. Did I keep you waiting very long?"

Blaise chuckled at Pansy's observation. It did seem to be par for the course. He'd had the opportunity once to interact with the patriarch of the family when a Muggleborn's little sister got a hold of her gobstones. Rather than focus on the fact that girl could have been seriously hurt Mr. Weasley had wanted to go on and on about how Blaise should look into adding Muggle marbles to the repertoire of his department.

As he made his way to the bar Blaise was stopped by a pretty blond. He looked her up and down and invited her to follow him to the bar. He then ordered her a drink along with one each for Pansy and himself. He then whispered in the young woman's ear for her to find him later before he turned to scan the crowd.

"Always my pleasure," he said pulling up a chair beside her so he could scan the crowd. His eyes landing on the nice young thing that he'd secured a promise from.

She followed his gaze, and gave the girl a once over. She could see the appeal, though if the girl hoped for anything more than one night, she was going to be disappointed. Blaise didn't do anything other than one nights; it was something they had in common.

"You're lucky I'm an understanding woman," she teased him, taking a sip of the drink he'd gotten for her. "Anyone else might be rather put out by your flagrant flirting with another woman."

Blaise knew that he needed a promise for the night or else he was going to drive himself completely insane. Every time he found himself around Pansy for too long his mind wandered and going home alone after an evening with her only left him feeling empty. At least when he had another lady to dwell upon he was able to forget, or was he actually pretending.

"Is that so?" he asked as he placed the drink he'd bought her on the table just out of her reach. "I could say you ought to be glad I'm a respectable man." He took a seat and a swig of his drink at the same time. "You won't find many men that would buy a lady drinks without wanting to see the vixen later that evening."

She raised a brow at him, and reached for the drink without breaking eye contact. "Men who expect payment of any kind for buying a lady a drink, deserve to go home alone." She smiled sweetly, but it was the kind of smile that promised terrible things in such a scenario.

"So, darling, where have you been keeping yourself lately? I feel like we haven't had time together in ages."

Blaise had to refrain from rolling his eyes. Pansy was a mixture of sanctimonious behavior and wild child. He just wished he could tap into her wild side again because her holier than thou attitude was a bit more high maintenance than he wanted to deal with casually. Still, he dealt with it because having her trust and keeping her close was better than not having her in his life at all.

"I've been holed up at the Ministry. The question my dear is where have you been?" He could have asked for a who as well but he knew that there was no one he'd want to hear about. As long as he could imagine her focused on what never would be he could pretend there was a little hope. "Or should I ask where would you like to be? I've got several trips around Europe coming up over the next few months. Company would always be welcome."

"Working far more than I like to admit to," Pansy said, wondering what had come over Blaise briefly; he'd drifted for a moment, but she refrained from asking. "But you won't tattle on me, will you darling?" She gave him a playful grin. "You know I always love traveling with you. If I can fit in a couple of days in my schedule, I'll let you know."

She finished her drink, then looked out at the dance floor. "Come on, enough talk about work. You promised me a night of dancing, and these shoes weren't meant to be wasted." She held out a hand, then led him onto the floor. Dancing was just the ticket to finish out the evening.
